I didn't notice it until the most recent alert, but look at the display on the cable box: EAS instead of 420, which is what I had been watching (KCAL 9's excellent local coverage).
It was kind of spooky. Luckily, it seems like the storm is moving east and sunshine is coming in from the west. We may survive this yet!
